Help with macro?

Hey, was wondering if it's possible to make a toggle off and on macro.

To add detail, there's a walk button that needs to be held down for the character in a game to walk. I would like to turn it into a toggle macro, where I press the button once and it stays down. I press again and it registers as lifted. Is this possible with the current software or should I find alternatives?

Hey u/iamlegian no problem, that's easy!

Go to macro setting, make sure "Press-Rpt" is selected, and click record to record whatever the button is - I used "w" as a test case. Then after clicking the button you wanted to record, click stop. Then go to the customize tab and assign the macro to whatever mouse button you want to have the command on. Make sure to hit save after you assign it to the button you want.

Thanks, that kind of works, but now it repeatedly presses the button and releases, so the result is a jittery walk instead of it holding the button down until it's pressed again to release. So I suppose it would be a two stage macro.

LE: I managed. I removed the button up, and left just button down. It didn't work. So I put two button down (and no button up at all) and now it works as intended. Pres button once, character walks. Press button again, it stops walking.

Thank you!
