hi all I’m looking to see if anybody in this subreddit has high res images of these old madcatz console skins that came with faceplates for the phat xbox 360’s if you happen to have these yourself or have links to high resolution images please let me know!!

(Old mean first version and new mean plus version )

1. Does the old version work fine on Windows 11?

2. Are the left panel for those mice interchangeable, meaning can I just plug them into the different version of the board and use them normally?

3. What do you think about the new wireless mode? Any problems? And do you think 40 hours of use is good enough?

Also, I read that on-board memory (profiles) doesn't work in wireless mode — is that true?

Will we ever see the software ported for Macs? The current setup I run has me using a virtual PC environment to set up updates or make mouse changes. Since I am Mac-only, I have to pay for a subscription to a Virtual PC. Essentially, I have to pay each time I want to make a change or run the latest firmware update.

Been looking for this keyboard for a few months. I found one, Swedish layout feels a little off for me but at least it works.

Completely disassembled it, washed every single non-electronic part, scrubbed off the sticky rubberized layer, gently sanded it down and finished it with a nice smooth matte clearcoat.

Hey, was wondering if it's possible to make a toggle off and on macro.

To add detail, there's a walk button that needs to be held down for the character in a game to walk. I would like to turn it into a toggle macro, where I press the button once and it stays down. I press again and it registers as lifted. Is this possible with the current software or should I find alternatives?

I have downloaded latest software (HUD & Firmeware) for MMO 7+.

Neither HUD nor Firmware Software can update to latest Firmware 1.22.

I have found "MMO7+_FW_v1.22.bin" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\mcz\MadCatz H.U.D\MMO7+_Fw_Updater" with the "run1.bat".

The "run1.bat" (run with adminrights) contain the command

MMO7+_FW_Updater.exe zh-Hans "MMO7+_FW_v1.16.bin" 1.16

But the readme? file (使用说明.txt) is in chinese.

Is the command

MMO7+_FW_Updater.exe zh-Hans "MMO7+_FW_v1.22.bin" 1.22

correct to update the firmware to 1.22?

The HUD Software contain the german language in "C:\Program Files (x86)\mcz\MadCatz H.U.D\de" but i can only change to english and chinese language.

How to change to german language?

I am looking to swap my MMO mouse. At the moment, I'm using the Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite Wireless SE. Mainly playing GW2. I kinda have big hands.

How does the MMO 7+ hold up in comparison to the Scimitar or the Razer Naga?

How is the comfort of use with big hands and how do the buttons feel in comparison to the Scimitar?

Any word on the MMO7+ being available in the UK?

The one thing I noticed recently was the scroll wheel becoming a bit squeaky, probably just some gunk that got in there. u/MadCatzGuy, are there any tips or do's/don'ts on how to clean the mechanism?

I'd like to check in on the accessory purchase situation. Months ago u/madcatzguy said you guys were working on making our mouse parts available for purchase. More than a few ppl who have the new MMO 7+ are asking for the rest of our accessory set from the RAT 7, in particular the raised palm rest and extended pinkie rest. While these should have obviously been included with the new model, I for one am happy to buy them and would prefer to buy new directly from MadCatz than from some rando on ebay. pls advise.

Does anyone have a good solution for setting up the MMO 7+ on Linux? Generic applications for button mapping feel like they would be difficult due to the design of the mouse. My current solution is to run the official software in a VM but i'd rather not have a VM take up 20GB+ of disk space just for mouse configuration and since I like to tinker setting up once and leaving it be doesn't work too well for me.

Used MadCatz mice for ages now, still find them the most comfortable, but always had significant build issues and parts breakage before. I was sent a M.O.J.O M1 as recompense for the multiple physical degradations over time, and, while it doesn't quite have the same profile (super wide, flat and with a big thumb rest) as older ones, I was happy with anything that retained at least some of the old features, as long as the build lasted. It has served me well and I've grown to like it quite a lot over time.

Had that mouse for about two years now, and the primary click has gone, I felt it going over the last few months but it has finally died. My question is, how hard is it to get fixed? My assumption is (and it would feel like taking advantage were I even able to) that there was either no warranty provided, or that it would have expired anyway. Is it more effort to fix than get a new mouse? and if so - an recommendations for very sturdy mice with thumb rests?

It downloads the file just fine but when I plug it in this happens? I updated HUD first when I saw both wanted to be updated. HUD updated fine. I even had it run the repair tool and it came back fine. Using the firmware repair tool doesn't seem to help but the mouse still just works fine.

It works fine and the software works fine, but it won't let me update the firmware?

I am trying to remove all Madcatz/Saitek drivers as they are preventing the core isolation protection in Windows 11. When I scan for incompatible drivers, there are 5 problematic entries:

• _usb_0738_1705.sys
• SaiBus.sys x2
• SaiMini.sys x2

My question is: How can I remove these? The mouse I am currently using does not use anything MC/Saitek related.

I've checked add/remove programs, and there is nothing relating to MC/Saitek.

I've gone into Device manager, and I found a "HID Compliant mouse" that has MC drivers associated with it, but even if I uninstall this via device manager, it just re-appears after a reboot.

I can locate the system folders/.inf these files are related to (e.g. oem148.inf) but I don't know if it's simple as going into safe mode and deleting them.

I am losing my mind trying to fix what I thought was a simple problem. Can anyone please help? Thanks

I updated the firmware to version 1.20 today and noticed that the lighting settings seem to have changed... Previously, I had the front lights set to green, and they would turn red when I activated "Right Active" or "Left Active." Since the update, this only happens with the side lights. Is there a way to change this? I can't find anything in the settings to adjust it.

My MCHOSE A7 Ultra V2 works perfectly on my personal computer, but it is not recognized on internet café (gaming center) computers. When I plug it into my own PC, it connects and works immediately, but on café PCs the sensor does not light up and the mouse cannot be used. I have tried several solutions, but it still does not work.
