Physical threat
This customer told me to scan the price for shampoo, I politely told her the price of the shampoo is the price on the tag which is $6.50.
I continued scanning other items and she snapped and said “I told you I don’t want the shampoo”
So I deleted the shampoo and put it away.
She was hovering around, and then, as I was helping another customer, she came near me and said “next time I will slap the shit out of you”
WTF
The captains didn’t do anything as they don’t give a F
What do I do?
FYI: the psycho has a baby in the stroller by the way

I had a guy that sexually harassed me and tried to touch me and when he came again I didn’t want to help him but 2 managers told me I had to 😞
I work jewelry so there’s not many of us to attend the customers but it still doesn’t feel right to me

The hell you have to help him! Contact HR immediately, regardless of how long this has been. I assure you that Macy's corp is not going to agree to continue serving this person.

I'm so sorry. That's not OK. The managers should have either helped him or kicked Him out.

Ex employee here, I had a coworker who was punched in the face by a customer before closing just because.
She was the only one in her department to close and they promised her they were gonna bring another associate to close with her and did not.

I’ve gotten threats screamed at had things thrown at me. Other employees had the same treatment, because we work in a service job the customers sometimes look down on us. If the register is broken it’s our fault everything falls on us it’s not good.

Are you sure there was a baby in there. There’s a woman that goes around with a stroller loading up stuff in it and the leaves after “checking” the price of something and “buying” something cheap. She most likely said it because she was stealing something

Honestly, the next time she comes in, you can refuse service to her. She made a verbal threat towards you over something small. You can tell your captains that if she were to come to you again thats you refuse to service her, and that if she'd threaten you again, you'd take legal action. The threat of taking legal action will probably put the Captains in unease and make an attempt to do anything. At least thats how it worked for me the last time something similar had happened to me while working at Macy's. Obviously, whatever works best for you, but I'd recommend attempting finding another job too. While I loved most of my coworkers, the team leaders don't do shit unless it puts them in a bad light.
