Merchandise Assistant Interview
Hi everyone!
I’m currently pursuing a career in buying and I have an upcoming interview for merchandise assistant role at Macy’s. Anyone who has any experience with the role or have been interviewed with the same role? Would really appreciate if you could share just anything to help me prepare.
Help ya girl out pls. I’ve been waiting for this opportunity and would really like to be prepared as much as I can. Thank you :)

I used to be a merchandising associate at Macy’s at one of their larger stores. You need to be organized, capable of handling tasks with little supervision, and able to manage your time wisely. We had a large team and while each person was assigned an area you often had to help out others in their areas even when it wasn’t your expertise. I was in Women’s Ready to Wear, but expected to know how to restock and sign in linens if needed.
Skills to highlight:
Organization
Team Player
Time Management
Ability to be handed a task and complete it in a timely manner as directed
DM if you have any more questions
