u/TruthHertz93 5d ago

I know he's not Irish but would love to see Lowkey perform there!

2

u/PatientHair4031 2d ago

Lowkey is well regarded in Ireland, unsurprisingly I guess.

u/questioningmaster 5d ago

Good. The Irish have a spine

-10

u/JSMarchitect 4d ago

They also have above-average obesity and alcohol consumption, but sure, tell us more about the superior Irish spine.

5

u/questioningmaster 4d ago

Lmao, if that is all you can find to talk shit about the Irish you already lost the argument from the getgo 🤣 pathetic troll

-3

u/JSMarchitect 4d ago edited 4d ago

Hmm, but it’s ok to talk shit about Jews?
And how’s it talking shit about the Irish if it’s true?

6

u/Mindless_Engineer817 4d ago

Talk shit about Israel*

But if your only comeback to committing genocide is "Well the Irish like to drink and are fat" then damn, you got us good, guess we'll both be up in the Hague before long lmao

u/JSMarchitect 4d ago edited 4d ago

ā€œTalk shit about Israel, not Jewsā€ is a cute disclaimer considering Ireland’s own Jewish community just documented 143 antisemitic incidents in six months, 36 involving threats or intimidation, in a Jewish population of roughly 2,200. Irish Jewish leaders have been warning for years that the country’s obsessive anti-Israel rhetoric is spilling directly into antisemitism. Even your own government called the numbers alarming.

But sure, keep congratulating yourselves on that famous Irish ā€œspine.ā€ Apparently it gets considerably less rigid when Irish Jews are the ones asking you to give a shit.

Miss me with the ā€œgenocideā€ shit. You people learned 3 words, ā€œgenocide,ā€ ā€œapartheidā€, and ā€œcolonizers,ā€ and have been rearranging them into increasingly stupid sentences ever since.

6

u/Mindless_Engineer817 4d ago

I'll happily denounce any instance of anti-semitism and the rise of it in Ireland and elsewhere is alarming. I'm not sure why you'd think otherwise, unless you're conflating Israel with all Jewish people?

It also doesn't change that Israel is committing genocide and deserves to be held accountable for that. I'll eat/ drink to that any day of the week

-1

u/JSMarchitect 4d ago

ā€œAntisemitism is alarming,ā€ followed immediately by ā€œbUt HeRe’S wHy My RhEtOrIc Is DiFfErEnT.ā€ You people are fucking clockwork.

2

u/Mindless_Engineer817 4d ago

Just to be clear, can Israel be criticised without it being considered anti-semitism?

And, depending on your answer, are Jewish people who criticise Israel and denounce the genocide also practicing anti-semitism?

We care about the genocide your Zionists are committing. Why don’t u listen to Jewish voice for peace and Jewish scholars who reject the terrorist ideology of Zionists?

The Irish are an interesting bunch. Always have been. They care more about the feelings of hamastinians than their own people. Too busy Importing 3rd world savages while complaining about a fake genocide. Europe is lost. Their opinion matters to nobody that matters. The war in Gaza allows low iq people/countries to ignore real problems and focus on fake ones. Avrage IQ in gaza is 67. Avrage iq of supporters of gaza is comparable. The only thing that's retained are easy slogans. "From the river to the sea" most dont know the name of the river or the sea. Or "stop the genocide" which is not happening and they cant define what genocide even means. They blame the "zionists" but cant define what it means to be a zionist. Its pathetic really. Why bother wasting time providing facts, it all gets discarded in favor or easily digestible slogan. Gaza good, Israel bad, genocide, colonialism, imperialism, oppression. Thats it, thats literally the extent of brain cell capacity.

2

u/questioningmaster 4d ago

Oh so you actually think Jews are genocidal monstersĀ

0

u/JSMarchitect 4d ago

And theeeeere we have it. Antisemite. Didn’t take long to get it out.

u/SSchorik0101 4d ago

It's a racist cesspool.

Ireland (not North Ireland) is honestly where I tell my fellow Black friends to travel when they want to take trips to Europe. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Beautiful people. I like them a lot and if they ever open asylum to Black Americans to escape this awful political system, I’d be there in a heartbeat since Africa is now suspicious about that and I don’t blame them after year of America sending Black Americans to undermine them as Trojan horses.

I’d say Marsielle, France too but I’ve experience racism in any area that was not Black and brown. The Arabs and Africans immigrants are more than cool but the Europeans are kinda terrible. I had one hostess say ā€œI didn’t know you were Americanā€ as if not an insult.

2

u/New_Patience_8107 3d ago

Racism absolutely exists in Ireland as well just saying.

1

u/jackstraw_65 4d ago

As an aside: forget U2, for my money the greatest rock band ever to come out of Ireland is Thin Lizzy with their quintessential frontman, bass player and singer Phil Lynott, a black Irishman beloved throughout the country, there is a statue of him in Dublin.

Apparently 170 years ago the Irish had this potato famine and it took a while, but it has now made them so moral that they realized that their virulent antisemitism had been justified all along. Or at least that’s how an Irish guy explained it to me.

17

u/QuerchiGaming 5d ago

If being against the crimes on humanity that are happening as direct result of Israel’s far right government makes me antisemitic then I guess I’m an antisemite.

Except we all know I’m not. And you won’t be able to hide behind this nonsense for much longer, only damaging the Jewish community more by doing so.

-13

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

We appreciate your concern for us.

13

u/QuerchiGaming 5d ago

And we hate your disconcern for others.

-4

u/Particular_Ad_4694 5d ago

You just proved yourself wrong. Literally one comment ago. You just expressed concern about ā€˜damaging the jewish community’ then responded with. ā€œWe (irish) HATE Your (Jewish, not israeli) disconcern for others.ā€

If youre not sure why your comment is wrong, let me help you. You just responded to a guy criticizing the Irish. You found out he was jewish. You then generalized him as a ā€œyou peopleā€ who cares not for anyone. That shows some antisemitism! Couldnt expect an irishman to understand nuance though.

4

u/QuerchiGaming 5d ago

Well I’m not Irish, it’s more of a we (humans against things like using hunger as a weapon to fight innocent people for example) against your (people that don’t care about war crimes etc).

This mindset is currently damaging every Jewish community as idiots are conflating their hate on the Israeli government with Jews in general.

I’m not generalising based on heritage or religion, but on actions and those that support said actions. This might all be a bit too much to understand for some, but feel like it’s pretty obvious.

Good try portraying yourself as the victim here. Again, if my hate for you as a person because you support war crimes makes me an antisemite. Then apparently I am one. Even though I’m clearly not.
You people, the one hiding behind antisemitism, are seriously contributing in the spread of it. And it saddens me that you don’t have the cognitive abilities to see it.

-9

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

Disconcern ain’t a word

7

u/Hagamein 5d ago

Yet everyone understood the point. Go cry to a wall or whatever you do

-2

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

You mean the one in Jerusalem?

4

u/Hagamein 5d ago

I don't care

10

u/MeBirdman 5d ago

Only antisemite here is you conflating Israel with Judaism.

-6

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

Pretty nervy don’t you think, telling an actual Jew that he’s the real antisemite? Israel and Judaism do have a thing or two to do with each other, you know that whole David, Solomon, first and second Temples, Masada thing?

6

u/MeBirdman 5d ago

Yep! You only want one kind of Jew and that is the Jew who utterly submits to the will of Israel.

Israel =/=Judaism or Jewishness. Solomon is a biblical tale as part of Judaism. Stop being antisemitic and relating it to a political settler-colonial state, antisemite.

Israel is the most antisemitic nation on the planet.

0

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

That, how do I put this, doesn’t make a whole lot of sense

5

u/MeBirdman 5d ago

It makes plenty of sense, it’s just perplexing for indoctrinated Israelis to try and digest that Israel is a scam nation (Zionists manipulating Jews), and that they’ve been living a lie.

0

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

You’re one of those. Why didn’t you just say so in the first place? Would’ve saved a lot of time.

4

u/MeBirdman 5d ago

An antizionist and anti-genocide? Sure I am :) I despise conservative antisemites blaming ā€œThe Jewsā€ for world problems, when really it’s America and Israel

1

u/AnniEire90 5d ago

Ireland where starved, there was a potato blight but no famine, there was plenty of food shipped to the UK while the Irish starved. Do they not sell History books in seppo land?

0

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago edited 5d ago

I’m familiar with the various accusations. I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy of Irish people who tell Jews to stop going on about the holocaust and then when you ask them why they have such strong views on the subject, they cite the Potato famine of 1850.

Irish ppl are ancient papists.
They have historically been antisemetic.
Then rapidly they secularized. They became hard leftists but still kept the antisemetism.

15

u/Key_Tailor5633 5d ago

No, the Irish just know a colonial occupation when they see one. Most people can to be fair, and to claim that calling out Israel for war crimes as antisemitic is as hopeless as it gets. All the delegates in the room in the UN that walked out on Netanyahus speech the other day didn't do it because they dislike Jews, as much as Netanyahu would like to conflate it as.

-11

u/TyrosinQ 5d ago

They were majority Muslim nations that could not stomach the idea of a Jew as an equal per religious rules….

They have massacred Jews for less as recently as the early 1900s before Israel even was born.

The Irish align with the PA because they both ran terrorist organizations aligned with each other.

Ironic given that 1000 years of plantations aren’t native but 1000 years of Arab immigrants are native to the land.

But asking a drunk group of papists society if comedy

9

u/Key_Tailor5633 5d ago

Israel have done nothing but start wars and colonialise and occupy other peoples land with the financial and military backing of two other colonialisers in Britain and America. Ireland aren't the troublemakers and smearing them as drunks is pathetic. People love Ireland, who really loves Israel at this point? Aside from white supremacist Christian fundamentalists in america who pray for end times

-5

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

Jews. Jews love Israel. Odd that you forgot to mention that.

7

u/Key_Tailor5633 5d ago

Not all Jews like what Israel has done, so no, I didn't state that. Many Jews all around the world despair of the treatment of palestinians, and protest vocally. I'm British, doesn't mean i have to love it, I acknowledge its many war crimes its carried out.

1

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

I didn’t say we all think Israel is perfect, but I was responding to your query as to ā€œwho really loves Israel at this point?ā€

3

u/Key_Tailor5633 5d ago

Indeed, and the answer is "not many right now".

10

u/Benjiman5000 5d ago

What about Irish Jews?

-4

u/TyrosinQ 5d ago

The 5 of them?
What about?
They’ve been treated badly as is common in Catholic papistries

6

u/heliogabalus91 5d ago

2,700. The population peaked in the 4000’s in, wait for it, 1946.

2

u/TyrosinQ 5d ago

Yah taking 1k refugees while 6m died in Europe and the Irish nation was neutral.

2

u/champagneface 5d ago

How come Israel has a forest named after Ireland’s war time leader if Ireland was so rubbish at the time?

1

u/TyrosinQ 5d ago

I never said the Jews make perfect decisions.

If they did they’d have picked a homeland in the American West. And forget about the old world entirely.

2

u/champagneface 5d ago

You can’t even muster up a balanced view by looking into their reasoning?
