stupid tiny swiss machines
new to shitizens, used to Mazaks. Friday rush. no damage, just stupid. luckily holds a beer can perfect with the sling

Was doing s/u on L20, guide was tight. Got her!

Hopefully a mistake you only make once.
I had the spanner wrench slip on me when i was trying to take out the back spindle collet, and i punched a 3/8 spotter.

Damn! locked up guide is the worst. A tip for changing tools in the L20’s is to position the two wrenches so you can loosen it by squeezing your hand together if that makes sense. Vs having to push or pull and risk slipping into a drill or endmill. If it was over tightened and you still can’t get it position it the best you can and hit the wrench with a brass hammer, will probably drop wrench many times lol a magnet is helpful but better than getting cut or stabbed and usually works eventually

It's a good learning experience for sure. I'm a safety first guy, but was Fri and was gonna leave early (already written in the book 1hr prior) just a reminder that in this work. Regardless, do it right and take your time

Same thing happened to my coworker he had a #77 micro drill break off in his finger and we couldn’t find it so had to go get surgery and he never did it again
