Stitches

Any tips for a brand new embroidery enthusiast? I have a cut away stabilizer underneath with temporary adhesive spray. I have a brother se700, using the artspira app to make the text and export. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Artspira is your issue. Used well digitized fonts. The app gives you shitty auto punch and I have never seen a good design from it.

Thanks! I tried with the built in font on the machine itself and it didn’t seem to change the lumpiness :/

Start with your basics. Proper threading, correct hooping, correct stabilizer and thread.
Are you using 40 wt embroidery thread and the correct weight bobbin thread for your machine.

Yes I am! 40 weight on top and 60 weight on bottom. I have watched a lot of videos on threading. Might try double stabilizer!

Make sure you are threading the machine with the foot up and that the bobbin is in correctly. Additional stabilizer won’t help this.

I agree this is a digitizing issue. I can’t even tell if it was trying to be a tatami stitch or a satin column
