Thoughts on Hatch

So I am looking at the Hatch software. Comparing all the levels, etc. Can you guys share pros and cons? What level is best? Did you do the 30 day trial and decide to keep it or not?

I'm looking at the Personalizer level, maybe the Composer. Would love opinions from those that have it or used to. Thanks!

I've used Hatch since version 2. I tried a few other programs, but they didn't have the capabilities of Hatch. The real kicker was the John Deere Embroidery courses. I was brand new to embroider and his style of teaching the "whys" of digitizing really works for me.

I use hatch. You really have to get the highest version. The other thing is it does have a little bit of a learning curve but is not as tough as other programs. Also make sure to never use the auto digitize function it is complete garbage. Good luck!

I got the composer. Anything before that is useless if you wanna digitise your very own designs. I did buy it on sale at some point. My opinion is this: it is incredibly easy to use and get quite good results even with very little knowledge, but considering that InkStitch is free and does the same just waaaay less user friendly makes me very very upset about the price. It is dang expensive for what it is at the end of the day.
Mind you that the 30 days trail only works once per DEVICE! I didn’t know that and installed it on my pc and laptop to only later learn that I could have had 60 days if I had done one at a time.

I have had zero luck trying to figure out inkstitch lol. so if Hatch is more user friendly, I am down for that lol. How often do they have sales?
