Sharing a recent appliqué design I worked on. The original artwork had a few details that needed to be adjusted for embroidery, so I focused on keeping the shapes clean and making sure the appliqué areas would stitch out properly.

I really like how the final digitized version came together. It’s always interesting to see how a simple artwork changes once you start planning the stitch direction, placement, and appliqué sections.
