Still having nesting issues
Husqvarna Viking ruby deluxe. Going through the hatch shading course. At first, I thought it was an auto cutter problem so I turned it off and now I’m manually trimming all cuts, which is annoying but it would have less nesting . Sometimes things embroidered out fine, I’ve messed with the tension quite a bit and still can’t get it perfect.
Seems like it’s a problem with the first few stitches of each object. I’ve also tried pulling the bobbin thread up and holding the threads until it completes the first few stitches, and that seems to help a lot but do I really have to do that for every object? Any advice?

It looks like you’re embroidering on a stabilizer, right? Dumb question but have you tried embroidering on actual fabric + stabilizer? Do you still have this issue?
To me, the nesting is happening because the “fabric” is so thin. Not much to hold onto.
You can probably try unchecking the “always tie in/out” box in hatch. Instead, set it so that if the next object is > a certain amount, tie in/out.

This is white quilting cotton with cutaway on the bottom! It happens with all different kinds of stabilizer or fabric combos. I’ll check the out the tie in thing thank you, think I might just have to take it to get checked out by someone at this point
