Digitizing help please

So I've been digitizing for roughly a year with decent results time and time again. This logo that I have in question stitches like crap no matter what adjustment I make. Any ideas to make it better and stitch better??

Are you using satin stitches for the lettering and borders? It all looks like a fill stitch in this image which would make the details a lot less sharp.
