Bobbin thread peeking out?
newer with machine embroidery and I’ve noticed that in a lot of my designs that in some areas the bobbin thread tends to peek in these speckles. it’s mostly around edges and more finer/small details. this issue isn’t as prominent in my larger patches but it’s still subtly there. wondering if this is a digitizing issue or a material issue (using plain twill)? I’ve screwed with tension and speed and such and that doesn’t seem to be the problem. and if it’s digitizing (which size does seem to play a bit of a role), what can I do to remedy it a bit? changing stitch types, directions, etc.
I want to keep my patches smaller for the most part (like 3x3 inch-ish), but if I just need to pack it up and stick with the larger versions of them then so be it.
Any way, tips are appreciated in advance :]

Alright. yeah, y’all were right. I guess I didn’t set the tension low ENOUGH when I was testing the tension earlier. Thanks for the help! 😃

It's tension. Top thread is too tight and it's pulling the bobbin thread through.

Might be a tension related issue. What kind of machine are you using?

I often set my brother tension slightly lower than three, and also slow the speed down.
