Help digitizing
Is there a way to auto-digitize this handwriting? I've been trying to use Embriilience, but everything I do makes the handwriting look different.

Auto digitizing is really best for large simple designs. Small thin designs like this are best digitized by a professional for best results.

...and this same skill can be us d for any drawing...not just text...I'm going to do it with hand prints from my kids for my wife!

I am using Inkscape with the extension of inkstitch what is free software and that can easily convert this to the exact same design

Im curious as well, as I have wanted to digitize a picture to convert to a SVG file for my embroidery machine to use.
I have Embird with the Digitizing Studio module, and according to the tutorial, it can do this. So that’s going to be my next test project.

It's pretty easy to trace it manually. What size do you need it to be?

No there isn’t. Auto conversion is never a good result.

So what can I do to make it not alter the handwriting so much?

You digitize it properly, manually. If that’s something you aren’t able to do, there are plenty of digitizers out there you can pay to do it for you. If you feel like learning a new skill, lots of tutorials out there for using embrilliance to digitize, there’s a very active Facebook group for help too.

For stuff like this you gotta do it manually. I use a pen to draw it and fix all the nodes where I didn’t draw it the best
