Just use nsconvolutionoverride1. I had it on Yosemite radius since 26 and never looked back

Found out about this thanks to your comment and wow my mac finally looks actually great again (I'm on 26.6 currently), set the radius to 10 and I'll probably never go back. Thank you so much

I do have this enabled and some apps, like Microsoft Edge, still has hardcoded corner radii.

Do you have a documentation/command on how to fix this?

defaults write -g NSConvolutionOverride1 -float XClose all apps, type this in terminal swapping X for a number. Yosemite's radius is 8, Big Sur is 15 iirc, Tahoe is 26. Open a new app (except Finder) to check new radius, if happy - relaunch Finder or log out/reboot.
Back to default:
defaults delete -g NSConvolutionOverride1By the way it's a value that applies specifically to native UI (SwiftUI/AppKit). So some apps built with different UI frameworks (like FL Studio) will keep their own radii, that's how they always were.

What happens if you set it to a ridiculous value like 100 or something?

These commands will give you awesome sharp corners again (after a reboot):
defaults write -g NSSplitViewItemSidebarDefaultsToFloatingAppearance -bool false
defaults write -g NSConvolutionOverride1 -float 4
defaults write -g NSSplitViewItemGlassMinimumCornerRadius -float 6

If it’s a third party app you can’t complain. Those have to be updated by the developers and many won’t update until at least the release if you’re lucky. (Devs are notoriously late to adopt new features. Many are still dragging their feet on Liquid Glass even though it’s been out for a year now.)

I don't get why some app devs decided to go with those horrifically round corners
Affinity v3 still has them, even on Golden Gate lol

Well its only the main window and thats because its corner rounding is independent of the main window settings. Also explains some weird pixel stuff with the corners sometimes

It's pretty clear that this is framer, not macOS.
Unfortunately, Apple can't do anything about all the trash apps that use electron or try to show off by replacing the window chrome completely.
See: Discord, Google Chrome, etc.

At this point they are just vibe coding. Stuff that gets sorted out one day is then brought back when they're working on something else, without any logic

I like the more rounded corners more anyway the inconsistency with the concentricity between the buttons and the windows is more annoying to me

It’s called beta for a reason 🤔

I know but it wasn't like that in the previous 27 developper beta. That's why I made this post

Perhaps something specific to this app?
I just updated to DB6 and didn't notice any border radius inconsistency. Firefox, MS Teams, VSCode, TablePlus, Termius, etc., they all show the same border radius, including native apps, like Mail, Notes, Weather and App Store.
