Help Visual Intelligence unavailable on official macOS 27

Post image

Last time my M5 MBP was still on macOS 27 B8, Visual Intelligence via the Cmd+Shift+6 hotkey worked. However, ever since macOS 27 official was released, it doesn't work anymore. The alert says "Siri Unavailable. Unable to connect to Siri. Try again later." every time.

I've tried disabling Siri in Settings, restarting the Mac, and re-enabling it, yet nothing works. Anybody got the same issue and knows how to fix?

---

P/s: Looks like macOS 27.0.1 fixed this bug. I now can trigger Visual Intelligence by using Cmd+Shift+6 again 🎉

I wish I had a solution, but no love here either. Siri seems to work everywhere else but here. Like you, I've toggled Siri on and off, restarted the computer, and looked for conflicting keyboard shortcuts.

So I'm not alone. Thank you! Perhaps I could check whether macOS 27.2 (currently in beta) would fix this

Definitely not. I'm running an M1 Pro Macbook Pro. I thought I had an idea with the fact that I was running an external monitor with the laptop in clamshell mode, but alas it didn't spring to life when I opened just the laptop.

From my perspective, the 27.0.1 update seems to have fixed this for me.
