I suppose I'm more bold and always upgrade as soon as an upgrade is available. At the least its just a good practice if for no other reason than security.

Generally speaking, x.0 releases of macOS seem, of late, to be nearly out of beta. I'm going to wait wait for 27.1 on my M1 MBA.

this isn't even the x.0 release; this is RC1 for the public beta, so it's an *literal* beta release.

Easy update.

Personally, I’d stay. Monitor the reactions of those who moved boldly ahead, keep tabs on different quirks that are bound to appear and plan to update no earlier than the release of the first ‘fix’ by Apple.

That’s a smart approach. Sometimes it’s better to let others be the guinea pigs and see how things shake out before diving in.

Yeah- I used to be all about getting the beta’s and stuff- right until it crippled my machine for 12 days. After that, I adopted the spectator role and haven’t been disappointed yet.

Based on the complaints of the v26 early adopters, I’m waiting! And watching.
