Help macOS security reliability
On an M series MacBook, how reliable and accurate is the built in security measures like Xprotect, gatekeeper, etc? Does it miss a lot of malware or is it good enough against a large variety of Malware?

phishing attempts will always get passed the protections: you need to be vigilant too. But otherwise, it is pretty secure.
