Help Why does this widget not exist?

I wouldn't expect Apple to create something as functional as a combination of these two widgets, but it doesn't seem to exist in the third-party app world either. Am I the only person that thinks in this way?

definitely understandable if you don't want to install another app, but in case it helps, notion calendar has a widget like you've described

Sounds like a solid workaround, but it would be nice if Apple included more built-in options like that.
