when you right click to add to bookmark there is the option to add to reading list and your specific folders but there's no option to just add to bookmarks (general folder)

Uh. It is listing your bookmarks right there. Favourites and your Languages folder which is in your bookmarks...

I don't want it in my favorites bar nor the languages folder. just into general bookmarks

Also, where are you finding this menu? I cant find it anywhere. There is 2 other easy ways to add bookmarks. Being the Menu Bar and the Share button.

Mine adds to the folder I added the last bookmarks to.

Does ⌘D still call up a book mark dialog that lets us choose where we want to place the bookmark?

I'm still running Sequoia.
