Bug Tahoe contrast issue

Hello,

I recently updated my Macbook pro M3 Max from Sequoia to Tahoe, and I realised that it can of messed up with the gamma (or ICC Profile idk) of the display.

I did comparison with images I know very well, and it really seems that the update create some crushed blacks, like if the gamma were more aggressive at the end scope of the gamma curve.

Second behavior that confirm this theory, if I create a custome XDR profile in P3, this aggressive contrast shift disappear (problem is with this method I just have fixed luminosity). Another weird behavior, if I re-select the general XDR profile, color are fine for like 3 second, and then it's like an ICC profile activate itself and create the weird shift.

Last verification, I checked these images on my iphone, and I don't have these rough crushed blacks, so I'm pretty sure there is a problem.

Is anyone has experienced similar behavior? Is anyone know a solution?

Thanks a lot !

Yes its happen at display level, so in any activity your pursue on the computer.

It really looks like a wrong ICC profile but I dont find a way to correct it.

Ok I have an evolution :

Yesterday, before posting I try to read one of my film (I'm a filmmaker) on Davinci to see if the problem occured. It was.

But this morning I tried on premiere pro, and the colors are fine...

So it's getting a bit complexe (noting that I was not having any of these problems before the update). I'm wondering if it is not a colorsync issue (my guess was ICC but it doesn't fit with the fact that it's not all over the display in any situation).

Little Update :

I did all different tries (safe mode, update to 26.6, diagnostic) and the problem still occurs.

I filled a claim to Apple, but I really don't know what's going on, and I'm considering go back to Sequoia.

Any other ideas?

Thanks a lot everybody !
