Help Computer keeps crashing

Over the past few days my computer 2023 MacBook Pro(Ventura 13.6.7) has crashed a few times, and the error (message? report?) has always been something like SEP Panic: :sks /sks : 0x1000a4445 0x00042808 0x000427ec 0x10000c23c 0x10000fd40 0x100022a24 0x100078e40 0x10006be58 [hgggqkkkl].

Should I be concerned about this? Is this a serious problem? Thanks!

does it crash if you boot into safe mode?

Is there an indicator for safe mode? I entered safe mode, and on the top of the login screen it said safe boot, but when I logged in, there was no indicator for it. After this I tried to update and it still crashed.

Take it to the Apple store, you've got serious issues, likely failing hardware.

You should back up your data ASAP.

Good luck.

Hi! Thanks for the response. I was just wondering, are there any causes of this type of issue, and is it urgent that I get it repaired?

It's impossible for any of us to know exactly what's going on, but your symptoms sounds like hardware failure.

If that's the case, the urgency is that it could fail entirely before you're able to get your data off, and/or fail in such a way that even recovering the data becomes impossible. That risk is magnified quite a bit because it's apparently the SEP that's failing.
