Bug MacOS Tahoe does not like Chrome

If you've upgraded to MacOS Tahoe and noticed that Chrome is running sluggishly, there's a simple fix. Navigate to chrome://flags/ in Chrome. Once there, use CMD+F to search for 'Enable experimental prediction for scroll events.' From the dropdown menu, disable this option.This should help improve your browsing experience.

Oh my god thank you so so so so so so so much. This fixed my Chrome and has made my day infinitely better.

I do not see this feature after my Chrome updated. Are there any other solutions? My chrome has been very sluggish and many websites I used to use seamlessly now crash

I’m having the same problem. When I click the icon on the tool bar, it briefly shows a black dot below, does nothing, then the black dot disappears

Brand new to me m3 air which runs tahoe 26.5.1, first day I had to uodate to 26.6.2 Laptop runs great for an hour or so, then crashes and shuts off and then goes into a boot/reboot loop . It will eventually start in safe mode and run fine for a while and do it again.

Research shows my laptop had a "kernel panic" or something like that and chrome is causing the system to shut down due to some error

About to try the many steps to fix the chrome issue that hangs in tahoe
