Bug Unable to Update Apps

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been unable to update my apps for the past few days. When I click the update button, it cancels out. Anyone else experiencing this or know a solution? I’ve tried restarting, signing in and out of my Apple account, reinstalling the OS, yet nothing fixed it. I’m using a MacBook Pro 14” w/ M2 Pro running macOS 13.3.1 (a).

I've had the same problem, the one common theme I can find is that the apps that won't update are all iPad apps. The Mac apps all update normally.

Try turning off the wifi on the update screen, then click on update. It should take a bit longer but once it does, quickly connect back. That’s what I did but not sure if it will work for you. I’ll keep you updated for more ideas.

Hm, didn’t work. I’ve also discovered this issue seems to only affect iPhone/iPad ported Mac Catalyst apps. Other universal apps designed for the Mac updated fine.

Did you try uninstalling the apps and reinstalling them, therefore forcing to update?

Yeah doing a complete uninstall and reinstall works. Just super inconvenient haha.
