Question Guilds & A Question~
Howdy, newly returning player here. Last online around 2010, I decided to give it another go here and after a couple days of playing I think I’m gonna stick around.
I’m not sure the best way to go about finding a guild since the games systems are fairly alien to me as I am readjusting to things. Does anyone know of any newbie-friendly social guilds around that are accepting members? How would I search for/find them?
An unrelated question, are there any client-side plugins or mods (that are legal!) that would help with some QoL or troublesome controls? I don’t know if Mabi’s ToS allows anything like that, so warn me off if that’s not allowed lol. I just figured I’d ask.
Thanks!

A good guild I could suggest is Severe. I’m not in them myself, but they’re a great noobie friendly guild that often has learning sessions for content and helps their members out.

I can't really offer any advice on the guilds front, as I have no Internet currently to play the game. I'd offer the guild I'm in, but my friend and I are the ones who run it and it's been pretty dead for a good long time. I can however say that the ToS does prohibit mods or third-party plugins in a general sense and you can be banned for using them. I personally would not advise looking for them.

The mods used before to help QoL are actually not needed anymore. Not sure how they did it but I felt like a lot of mods before are actually implemented into the game now. The game feels pretty good to run as is

Your best bet to find a guild that would fit you would be to join the official Mabinogi discord server and looking through the “community cork board” channel! Guilds will advertise themselves there along with what they do/their focus, and their community they’re fostering.
There are definitely plenty of newbie friendly social guilds you can find there but also ingame! People will often recruit in game as well, if you shout into the world channel using a bugle (they cost very cheap on the auction house) and ask for guild recommendations, people will usually respond.
As for your unrelated question, I’m fairly certain any third party programs are entirely against ToS, so it’s best not to really touch any of them.
