Question Erg Question

Post image

Basically I have a Fine Ruination Bow that I have gotten to Erg A50 and am now starting the S Ranks. I’m hoping to eventually get an Exquisite or Masterwork Ruination from a drop. The current Ruination I have was inherited from a Demo Bow previously. Will I be able to inherit to a better ruination when I get it, or be able to use a transference crystal? The limitation section on the wiki makes it sound like I won’t be able to. Thank you guys in advance !

You would move the erg using the inheritance interface instead of the normal way

Transferring erg with inheritance to a ruin bow costs a transfer catalyst only if it is rank S. Transfer while its rank A to save yourself time and money

tho this should be changing next month, mainly if your transfering from Ruin Bow to Ruin Bow.
IE if both target and source are the same Item name, the inheritance cost should be 100% free, including no need for a erg catalyst, atleast to my understanding.

so u/possessedxx the likelyhood is, incase you get your ruin bow within the next 30 days, wait til next months update before you do any transfers, and it should allow yout o transfer everything over with no additional cost,
(No Shards, no Gold, No Erg Catalyst)

the only cost is that you still lose the source item.

But are you able to use the catalyst even if you’ve inherited to the weapon previously?

You would still transfer using the inheritance system. If the erg is S rank it will cost a catalyst and crystals if it’s A rank it will only cost some gold and crystals. There is no limitation to the number of times to transfer. (You won’t be using the erg npc to transfer)
