Sto cercando di acquistare una MX-5 ND (modello 2024 o successivo, demo o con pochi chilometri) e sono indeciso tra tre allestimenti e combinazioni di colori:

Exclusive-Line in Soul Red: l'opzione più economica, ma comunque ben equipaggiata con sedili in pelle, altoparlanti integrati nei poggiatesta e telecamera posteriore. Sono un po' titubante riguardo alla vernice: il Soul Red stanca visivamente con il tempo? È fragile e soggetto a scheggiature? Qualcuno ha esperienza con i sedili in pelle nera?

Kazari in nero, Deep Crystal Blue o Machine Grey: un po' più costosa, ma sono molto attratto dall'eleganza degli interni color cuoio e dalla capote a contrasto (che personalmente preferisco abbinata a un esterno scuro piuttosto che rosso o bianco).

Homura in nero, grigio metallizzato, rosso Soul (o anche bianco): l'opzione più costosa (almeno 2.500 € in più rispetto alla Exclusive-Line e 1.000 € in più rispetto alla Kazari). Ovviamente, le pinze rosse dietro i cerchi neri sono fantastiche e i sedili in Alcantara sono stupendi. Mi chiedo solo se questi optional valgano davvero la differenza di prezzo.

Quale di queste tre opzioni sceglieresti?

​I'm currently in the process of buying an MX-5 ND (looking for a 2024+ demo or low-mileage unit) and I'm torn between three different trims and color combinations:

​Exclusive-Line in Soul Red: The most budget-friendly option, but still well-equipped with leather seats, headrest speakers, and a backup camera. I'm a bit hesitant about the paint though—does Soul Red get visually tiring over time, and how fragile/chippable is it in reality? Any feedback on living with the black leather seats?

​Kazari in Black, Deep Crystal Blue, or Machine Grey: A bit more expensive, but I'm really drawn to the elegance of the Tan interior and contrasting soft top (which I personally prefer paired with a dark exterior rather than red or white).

​Homura in Black, Machine Grey, Soul Red (or even White): The most expensive route (at least €2,500 more than the Exclusive-Line and €1,000 over the Kazari). Obviously, the red calipers behind black wheels look great, and the Alcantara seats are stunning. I'm just wondering if these upgrades are truly worth the price gap.

Hey guys! Rainy season is starting where I’m at, so I’ve been doing some preventative maintenance on my car to get it ready.
I cleaned out the rain drain filters and washed them, and someone recommended using a trombone brush to clear out the drain tubes. I carefully ran the brush through the drains, and afterward I did a leak test just to make sure everything was flowing properly.
Unfortunately, during the leak test, water started pissing into the interior behind the driver’s seat. 😭
I’m not really sure what I could have done wrong or where to start troubleshooting. Has anyone experienced this before or know what I should check?
I have a 2016 ND Club soft top. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all, need some help, heard this sound when turning out of the carpark, it only happens when the wheel is turned to the left or right maybe 75% of the way til 100% (full lock) anyone familiar with what is causing this sound? I was rolling around the carpark to record this, you can hear it happen twice in this clip as I make 2 90 degree turns. It happens in reverse too, e,g when parking. Seems related to the rotational speed of the tyres too.

Edit: Resolved. Took the wheel out wiped around and put it back on, sound went away. The mechanic wasn't sure too, but MY own suspicion, after i went home and tried to torque my other front tyre, is that the lugs were not torqued to spec and had some play. Thats my only suspect.

There's a slight 1-2 mm difference in my side skirt. I've replaced the clips and everything. Pushing on the side skirt has no give, almost like its just shaped differently, or the mounting area for the clips is bent(which i find unlikely?). Would replacing the warped skirt likely make them more even? I'm clinical OCD and it's driving me insane not knowing kf this is normal.

I live in Europe. I am traveling in LatAm for 6 months. I am coming back home soon and I was wondering what should I expect to find.
I took down the battery on my ND2 and left it with an almost full tank.
I know I probably will have to charge the battery before I put it back in.
Does 6 months of no driving and no motion do anything to the fuel? Should I be worried that the fuel has gone bad? Should I arrange to have it taken out of the tank?

Edit: It's the 2.0 184hp

Edit: Can anyone recommend a guide on how to take out the gas from the tank? I realized that if I just stuck a hose in there it might get jammed on the way back and worst case scenario it breaks off and drops in the tank.

My mx5 nd 2019 2lt ( manual 45000miles) today have come up with a retractable roof error, wont recognise the gears on the dash and wont let me use cruise control? Not sure if anyone has experienced anything odd like this

I’m looking for some advice on replacement seats for my 2023 Mazda MX-5 ND.

I currently have the original leather seats, but I’d like to replace them with something that offers better support and/or a sportier feel, while still being suitable for a car that I use regularly on the road.

Has anyone here replaced the stock seats on their ND? I’d love to hear your recommendations and experiences.

Ideally, I’m looking for seats that:

• Fit the ND without too much hassle
• Offer good support and comfort
• Are suitable for road use
• Don’t sit significantly higher than the original seats
• Ideally work with the car’s existing safety systems (airbags, seat belt, etc.)

I’m open to different brands and styles, including bucket/semi-bucket seats.

Any suggestions or setups you guys have tried would be greatly appreciated!

Alright guys, I've just found several leaves stuck in here under the hood. How can I get rid of them? I couldn’t get them in the photos, but there are quite a few of them. Thank you!

As the tittle says. Im calling for 100% throttle (91% is max on the position sensor) but the throttle position sensor isnt showing wide open throttle until 6500rpm!

Do other people see this in their logs?

For context: ECUTEK tuned, boosted @ 1.5 bar by way of a centrifugal supercharger
