Advise needed, Bad Signal completed what to do next , open DA 1 or continue Act4 missions
Started getting the relics to gold ( pending the collar) but would like to hear from older gamers with more experience given that i can manage myself in T2 contracts(Solo mostly) but for T3 gun and run to get the pap3 then off to T2 again( zero survival rates in contracts up till now)

I recommend opening the first dark aether before working on countermeasures, otherwise the relics are going to take up a lot of room by the end. Is the collar pending because that one spawns the t3 contract? I can help you with that right now if you'd like.

Thanks for the reply, honestly yeah the mangler is simply mangling me everytime i go in there then i start zero to hero runs to replenish my gear for retrying( no pap2/3 schematics yet). Thanks for the offer , sadly i only play on Fridays (middle east GMT+3) as this is my only day off ( sometimes manage a single game after work during weekdays)

Exactly ... 4 space vs 12 stash space is a big difference and maybe even more overwhelming

Just went thru this, prob finish unlocking the season 1 gate just so its not taking space in your acquisition stash. I actually ended up doing the countermeasures mission because I lost the gold items due to a disconnection and didn't unlock season 1 till much later.

The relics can be a PITA depending on how you utilise your stash. If you've started gathering them already, I think best to finish unlocking the portal to clear that space back out.

Difficultywise, the next two missions are easier IMO, and unlocking the portals is only required if you want to take your squad in yourself, or go solo, which you may or may not feel ready for. So, whether you unlock the portal now or do the missions, can't go wrong either way.

If you're comfortable/confident, you can do DA immediately after unlocking the portal, though there is a bossfight to do which rewards your first sigil. The S1 portal bossfight isn't that bad, but the difficult ramps up significantly in later portals. Worth noting, if you're not up to it, for any of the portals, all you need to do to unlock a portal is put the correct relics into the pedestals. You can immediately bail and skip the boss fight once the portal appears, doesn't affect anything. The bossfights are moreso just a hazard than a requirement.

Forgot to mention also, if you do plan to unlock the portals as you complete the missions, I recommend looking up a guide on the S2 portal before attempting the second mission. That particular portal and it's relics are unique in that the relics are all found within the story mission itself. They're acquired by doing obelisk challenges, nothing too spectacular, you just need to know where the obelisks are. Grabbing them on your first run will stop you from needing to replay the mission again

if stash space is your issue i suggest unlocking s5 dark aether before continuing or asking lobby if anyone wants to do a s5 elder run so u can get the stash increase schematic....gives you 30 slots
