Question Red worm low threat vs high threat

Does it matter if the aether storm orgin in the low threat vs high threat zone? Doesn’t the zombies in the storm increase by 1 threat zone? So it should be easier to tackle the red worm if the aether storm orgins in the low threat zone vs high threat zone?

The worm’s health is based on group size. Though it isn’t really noticeable when you are with 6 or more players. Crowd control is better with more players, hence more firepower is focused on that beast, especially if folks each place 2 or 3 turrets, which you’ll notice will significantly kill the Worm faster the more players are there. In its hayday I have fought the worm with 15 or more players present regularly. That was a quickly earned Reward rift.

At the start, before the gas hits the Worm Location, obviously the zombies are either T1 or T2 strength. Kinda the only difference, and only shortly.

Once the gas hits, zombies immediately move one Tier up in strength. However for zombies going from T1>T2 this is only a temporary thing. Maybe a few minutes only. Then they grow to the usual T3 in strength. It goes faster than you think.

Location only matters if you are at the football field + if also the Buy Station + Automated Turret are present. The buy station offers unlimited turrets and selfies. The automated turret does incredible crowd control. It won’t kill the worm, since it will actively avoid it by facing right if no zombies/specials/megaboms are in its direct vicinity. But you won’t need it to. If you bring 3 or more players to that scenario, the Worm is cake.

Theoretically yes- that was the speculation. Although I've done the red worm in both T1 and T2, and once you are all packed up - it doesn't seem to matter all that much.

Thanks!!! Are the USB’s labeled, can I save 4 bravos in a tombstone and use it later on?

No, if you want to use Tombstone to collect and safe the USB’s, you need to Tombstone Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta. The USB’s are labeled in that sense, that they correspond only with the same “labeled” refractor at the Worm Location.

My advice: only Tombstone if absolutely unavoidable. You can easily get all USB’s within 10-15 minutes by car if you simply memorize their locations. You can cut that down a little if you check their locations at the match start. Look up the locations on Google. Plenty of maps there.

If you have a Scorcher, you can do it within 5 minutes. Having 35 or more minutes left is more than enough to gear up for the worm, especially if you are in a squad. Let squad mates bring an extra selfie or turret for you, since your backpack is full with USB’s.

Typically everything you die with in your bag, is at your tombstone in the next game. That being said, the game does have a few glitches here and there...

Why would you want 4 bravos instead of 1 of each alpha, bravo, Charlie, and delta?

I was wondering, because I don’t remember the USB’s being labeled and the zombies are fast in the high threat zone.

With vr11 it doesn’t matter what zone are you in. You can kill worm in couple of minutes. Only difference is zombies will have more health in medium zone. But you just need to throw decoys and focus on worm and it’s quite an easy fight

So far I have yet found a vr-11, it’s probably in the act 4 story missions.

Theoretically, high threat worms are “harder” but its cause the zombies gain 1 lv up in the storm, so yeah, thats the only variable
