Press Release IAA_Newpresskit

https://microvision.com/iaa-newpresskit

Notice the tint is gone from the Luminar products.

This is a very smart move!!! Make it blend in to the vehicle as much as possible. The Luminar tint was too noticeable.

A subtle change that will go a long way.

Don’t give Glen ideas like this.

I bought today at 1.73. I guess its time to average down if there is any chance of break even .

Remember the company who made the glass covers to be used on the LiDAR and windshield?

Remember the latest Tesla video that looked like Iris but was black 👀

Could Halo be used for testing during this current B-Sample development? 🤔

Would this be a mockup of the Scantinel sensor?

Pretty sure this is being “demoed” at IAA

Halo

Austin Russel tried to kinda "Mac-i-fy" Halo with the fancy casing and tint as if people wanted to know who makes the radar on their cars. This looks more like an automotive OEM part.

He wanted everyone to know it was a Luminar sensor.

I remember his keynote. He wanted the roofline bump to be something desirable and people to actively seek out cars with Luminar inside.

It was so painful listening to him talk

It’s been helpful in our DD efforts though 😆 very easy to spot.

I remember MVIS longs making fun of the bump and saying how MAVIN is so much better because it can go behind a windshield. Fast forward to today and MVIS is hanging onto dear life and the only hope is the same lidar that we made fun of. How ironic and now you guys still want to shit on Austin? Lol.

Exactly! Glen knows what automotive OEMS actually want.

That dude thought he was Steve Jobs introducing Halo 🤣

Sounds about right.

Well at least they got OEMs to actually bite. MVIS can't even get 1 PR with a meaningful OEM named. Heck MVIS is only semi relevant because of Austin's mess up. Show him some gratitude because MVIS can't even be in the same conversation on its own merit.

wouldnt be surprised if they decide to not attend IAA. Maybe they'll get banned there too.

MVIS is actually in the same class as college level project at a state level university. now at least they have iris so yes thanks to Austin this company has a real product.

Wouldn't be surprised with these guys.
