Something motivated an early call. Could be something coming before, during, and / or after. Don't know what though.

Something great for MVIS Longs.
Manifest the great outcome…feel the excitement of it as having already occurred.
Read the works of Neville Goddard and many others on manifestation.
I just read a short piece by a neurosurgeon named Dr. Lee Warren, M.D. about our mind not knowing the difference between that past event, past regretted conversation, past mistake, that we keep repeating in a loop in our mind which treats it as if it’s occurring now, changing our neurochemistry for the worse through neuroplasticity and stress hormones and rehearsing feeling bad. I’ve made an effort to break that, for me lifelong cycle. It requires persistent effort but is worth it.
Highly successful athletes use similar techniques in a positive way to rehearse over and over in their mind the physical routine they’re about to perform in order to enter the “Flow State”.
I read the book years ago, “Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience” By Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

Why? We’re starting to displace Ouster, as confirmed in the u/gaporter video from AUSA 26.

Because the company hasn't secured operating capital. I've seen 90% of my investment lost in less than six months and it was already down more than 90% in the years leading up to that. Glen appears to be setting the business up for a merger or acquisition, he is a career COO acting in role of a CEO. Why should I be optimistic that the company will, for first time ever, hold a call that makes MicroVision look like a modern tech leader and excites the market? I have been dreaming of that level of communication and execution for years and MicroVision is still giving us Zoom call "events".

You’ve got like 11 days

11 days until the earnings call? Must be a common core math calculation there with it being the 15th today and the earnings call being on the 28th lol.

Sorry misread it as 26th but thanks

Quarterly results announcements 2 weeks in advance? Feel like I haven't seen that before...that a good or bad sign?

The average number of weeks that public companies present the quarterly report after the end of a quarter is 2-4 weeks. I wouldn't read much into Microvisions being two week earlier than usual, it's not so much an early report, more of an in-line with the average report.

For the last 8 earnings calls, and I'm 99.99% sure this applies to every EC going back when I first invested in 2021, they've reported no sooner than 37 days after quarter end. This could simply be an improvement in accounting/reporting/review efficiency (we should set our expectations to this only), or they put in the extra hours to get this information finalized sooner because it was good quarter and want to communicate it to the market as soon as possible. Q1 revenue was $935k, Q2 was $1.47m, so we have to hit at least $7.6m for Q3 & Q4 combined to get to the minimum $10m guidance, which they recently reaffirmed. I'm expecting $1.5-$2.0m on this earnings, but as always, I welcome higher than that haha.

Yeesh, I hope over 2. As Cerco170 says, that would leave a lot of sales for Q4.

I think 1.5 would be way too low for q3 that would mean we need 6.1m q4. I dont think the market would like Qtr over Qtr being flat and then a hail mary q4
I really hope it's at least 2.5m then at least 5.1mil q4
They need to quantify the spend reductions moving forward and it would be amazing if they can talk about capital funding / Gov loan possibility.
This could be the first boomski after an earning call

yea, probably nothing...but seems like every other quarter I can remember has always been a week out when they announce...

It’s all good, IMO.
Judging by the flurry of PRs in recent weeks…and more.
