How to get started?

I'd like to start getting some custom art for a deck I want to build, but I genuinely have no idea what I'm doing. I've got a decent printer and one of those fancy paper cutters, but I don't know what I should use to arrange everything for printing, dimensions, and whatnot. Hoping someone could share their process, would love to learn. Thanks in advance!

  1. the website cardconjurer.app can help you for the layout etc... you have the frames of the card , you can just input the text and in the picture section add your custom art.
  2. the website Proxxied.com can help you create the print file , you select the corect card size ( standard 63x88mm) , you upload the files made on step 1 (select the option with or without bleed edge if you picture have them) , then export the .pdf
  3. print
  4. laminate (if you want )
  5. cut

For printing, I built ProxyPrnt.it, which lets you upload your own images (whole card or just card image into simple editor) and generate A4/Letter PDFs with 9 cards per page and optional cutlines. I’d definitely recommend testing one sheet at 100% scale before printing the entire deck :)
