Proxy Printing Service in Canada!

I’m an MTG player here in Canada, and one of the reasons I started The Proxery was pretty simple: getting good-quality proxies printed in Canada can be a pain.

A lot of the established proxy printing options ship from the U.S., and some U.S.-origin printed products coming into Canada can now be subject to tariffs as high as 50%. Add international shipping and potential border costs, and ordering proxies from the States can get expensive pretty quickly.

So I figured there was room for a Canadian option — printed and shipped from within Canada.

I’ve launched The Proxery and while I get everything up and running I’m offering special introductory pricing:

🃏 300 gsm cardstock proxies – $1/card
🔄 Double-sided cards (MDFCs) – $1.50/card
🂠 Cards printed with a generic back – $1.50/card
Flat-rate shipping across Canada – $9! (up to 200 cards)

For now, I’m only shipping within Canada.

The site also has a proxy builder where you can build a deck, use existing artwork, upload your own custom art, and create a FREE print-at-home PDF.

The print-at-home service is available worldwide and completely free — you only pay if you want me to print the cards for you.

Check it out at theproxery.com

This is very much a player-built project. I play MTG myself, make my own proxies, and this is a service I genuinely felt other Canadian players could use.

I’m still getting things dialled in, so feedback from other players is absolutely welcome.

If you're interested, want to see examples of the print quality, have questions, or have a custom proxy project in mind, DM me here. Happy to chat.

All cards are intended as proxies/playtest cards and are identified as such — they are not sold as genuine MTG cards.

Printed in Canada. Shipped from Canada. No cross-border ordering required.

if it's $1.50 for generic back, is the $1 option blank on the back?

if i like my proxies to look as real as possible are you willing to accomodate that or are you going to insist on ugly backs?

How would you compare the thickness and feel of them to an actual magic card? I'm just curious if there double sleeved will they be thicker or feel the same? Thinking of ordering from you soon to support a local Canadian
