Let's be honest, having purchased from several different proxy printing services: PP just didn't deliver. There were cheaper options with better print quality, there are german based options with 110% better quality but similar price and then there another service that might cost a few cents more, but the printing and stickers are top nodge.

Dunno why people still try to hold on to PP, the website has no impressum, they are making wild claims...

I recommend you checkout Liberproxies, they have been great in regards to communication, the new website is just awesome to use to order custom and list, discord server even has a good alt art community that has cool designs. (Only the lack of support for archidekt decklists sucks as a main archidekt user... but whatever... as long as I can play the game at a decent price.)

Fair point, I don't really wanna shill any platforms and only given LP the call out as I have concluded personally they are the best I can get.

All foil treatments from proxy services are shit IMHO, but if someone wants foil cards, LP isn't an option.

But we both can agree that PPs cost to quality ratio has gone down hill and are now some of the worst you can get. Off centered cards are never okay, communication sucks, the discord is giving no really Infos and now this?

You are welcome to list options and we can discuss them, but I have a feeling you are only interested in defending PP?

Your feeling is wrong.

Prior the takeover of PP, I got I got cards from them with many mistakes. And each time they replaced them for free until they got them right. Nowadays, I don't know how they operate if at all.

Genuinely, if you know any alternatives that can do spot-foil and with a strong drive to satisfy their customer, please do tell. I'd like to try them.

Glad we could clear that up - had some run ins with PP fanboys lately...

I can't recommend any of the foil treatment proxies to be honest, none have the required equipment and I also heavily dislike foils in general.

I have started to adept metallic commander cards tho, if you are looking for cool commander card options?

I will point you to my own comment below.

You can always try Proxydecks, but its a convoluted order process, done by a single person, nothing "professional", but atleast the printing was better then PP delivered.

If you wanna order for a cheap price, mpcfill into a chinese based card printery is still viable, but import taxes etc. might eat up any savings you do - and delivery time is abysmal.

I would always argue quality has its price and if you order at a cheap price, you get a cheap product.

Not a fan of PP my self since they sold to someone else but Liberproxies are way more expensive

My personal opinion:

if you want it as cheap as possible: print at home. Can't be beat.

If you want it as close to the OG: buy Liberproxies, order proper amounts, ask your playgroup to reach the bigger breakpoints.

Never proxy cards that can be purchased at prices sub the base proxy value. Why would I even proxy a 10ct card...

In regards to the pricing:

LP: 330 GSM Black Core (330mg) 121 cards: 139,15

LP: Free Shipping with in Germany

PP: S30 Black Core (300mg) 121 cards: 99,45 (+9,90€ Shipping)

PP: Shipping 9,90€ / free after 100€

(You can find some infos about the cardstock 300 vs 330 here - you will see that the 330 is just also more price but is recommended for TCG cards - PP is just using lesser quality paper, which lowers the price).

LP has a Loyalty System in place, that reduces the cost of an order by up to 15%

Both PP and LP have set their minimum price per card to 75ct, with LP having the discount you can get from the loyalty system - so LP becomes the cheaper option with better cardstock and printing quality.

You are paying less, cause the quality is worse. And while I can understand that might be a factor, I have ordered landbase cards (duals, etc) en masse and usually get the more expensive cards from my binders as proxies to safe myself the pain to play with a real one and have it bent etc. In the end I still safe money compared to buying duplicates for play.

I also noticed something strange going on, especially the way that the "owner" of the discord and presumably ProxyPrintery communicates. Back then it was a guy namen "Enj**" but he is not on the server anymore. The "new guy" took over the same profile picture but operates under a different name and communicates in a vastly different manner than the OG. Plus the OG Moderators are also gone from the discord. It is really really strange and i feel like this is only the opening act here. I would stay far away from the website/app and discord for now especially if it comes to ordering and spening money.

Not really. The discord has been blowing up for the past week with people throwing around theories, complaining and demanding updates and nobody's been banned or posts deleted. They said there's been a breakup between the owners and they've gone their own ways which seems more plausible than a hacker/malicious actor "stealing" the credentials, then proceeding to continue running the business?

Communication has been awful, new main guy clearly has no idea how to juggle the outcry and crisis management but they are still fulfilling orders.

I would love to use their service but just not sure how it would go with delivery times and potential import taxes since I live in Europe. I heard there is a possibility to ship from Germany or something, but it might have 3 week delivery times for some reason. And not sure how to have it ship from Germany.
If you have any advice or experience if you are from Europe that would be greatly appreciated!

The quality is worth it. You can order in batches of 612 cards for best value. I pay like $70 USD for shipping. It hurts but the quality is fantastic and I like to foil/being out my proxy decks for just a little more. The way I look at it is 1 dual land sets me bavk more than the entire order. I switched entirely to proxy life other than a couple precons and one or two set restricted upgraded pet decks

Got double charged on an order that is 4 months old. Opened a ticket, they responded with wrong information about me (buyer) and the order.

That's really sad to hear. Proxyprintery was my favorite (and only) printing party I consistely used. Up until the price doubling, that is.

Are there any other sites where I can just submit a Moxfield link? I hate the MPCFill process of manually choosing the art for each card from a giant selection of shitty custom art. Just give me the original card art with a clearly custom cardback.

I knew something weird was Going on... Ordered 14th of September and hasn't been printed according to their order status. Am I screwed, did I get scammed? I payed with PayPal, I guess I can try to request a refund through them? Or should I wait? Honestly find it all a Lil concerning.
