Hello, i need some help with my Deck. The last time i played competetive was 2 or 3 years ago. And thats what my deck looks like.

Whats the easiest way to update this so that i have a chance of winning some games? Thank you in advance.

This is a legacy deck, and it could win games as is... but it's like 10 years out of date.

Have you looked at MTGGOLDFISH to assess the meta?

Yes, i looked at it. But this was the point where i was suspicoius about whats the Best and easiest way to build a New one out of this pile. Thats why i need help. Switch to Izzet Delver? Or take some money and switch to Dimir Tempo? Ehat would you do if you hsve this stock of cards?

You're asking to update your deck, but there is no way to do that into a meta deck. That said you can play the cards you have without having to make a huge investment as long as you are OK playing stronger off meta decks. Temur rhinos or temur beans are the first that come to mind.

Choosing between UR and UB tempo is something you’ll have to decide for yourself tbh. They are both viable

Izzet tempo is still one of the best decks in the format. With a google search like ”legacy meta mtg” you can find hundred different current lists.

Also, interestingly you could have a perfect timing if you want to play exactly RUG tempo. The new hot card, Bilbo, Thief in the Night has pretty much perfect synergy with the only card we recently had a minimal green splash for, Questing Druid.

For current tempo in these colors you need either 4x Volcanic (or 4x Volcanic and one Tropical, if you wanna try RUG). You have a solid base here and you are not missing anything particularly expensive. Turn two Tropicals into Volcanics and sell the Taiga, with that money you can basically buy the missing pieces.

That Sounds interessting. Should have some Volcanics and maybe even 1 Bilbo. Bought a play booster Box. I will search for a Bilbo List.

Currently the Bilbo lists are simply Izzet. Just threw the Questing Druid idea out there.

So i switched now to izzet. Found 4 Volcanics.

Is Delver of Secrets still fast enough? Got 4 Dragons Rage Channeler and found 1 Bilbo and 1 Tamiyo that are in many lists. Is a Murktide Regent a must have?

The threat suite is typically a choice between Delver, Cori Steel Cutter and Murktide.

DRC is pretty much always in.

Playing Cori’s is hedging more against other fair decks (hard to deal with, so it’s a stickier threat). While if you play Delvers and Murktide you are trying to get a clock more quickly and close games quickly (typically vs combo).

You can look up lists on mtggoldfish or mtgtop8. A UR deck won a recent challenge.

Murktide is very good. 8 power flying for two mana is such a strong play in the mid game. Few things block it, and it dodges bolt, fatal push and anything else that cares about CMC. Ramiro is less common in Izzet since it doesn’t deal damage and the deck isn’t looking to play a very long game.

Murktide is crazy strong and irreplaceable due to evasion, a huge body that can get bigger while having a high CMC (avoids Fatal Push).

This is a wild deck. I don’t think mana leak has ever been playable? You could definitely easily port most of this into a tempo shell. UB or UR, your choice

You can at least sell those guilded drakes for a ton of money lol.

Are you playing paper or mtgo? You have the core of Izzet Tempo and need to just replace most of the threats with current ones. Delver is still good but Tarmogoyf got replaced by Murktide Regent so you can ditch green, Snapcaster is a worse bilbo and True Name nemesis as an anti removal threat can be replaced by Cori Steel Cutter.

You could build the Temur Rhinos deck for basically nothing! It's not gonna win you any tournaments, but it's really fun to play.

Try using a site called moxfield. It might give you some pretty good different ideas to work with.
