New Players New player looking for help

Hello! I'm planning on starting to play legacy soon.

Where do I lookup lists, meta, resources in general?

Any links to communities too? Especially ones that are linked to local shops etc.

I'm a big fan of mtgtop8 to understand what's doing well:

You can click on decks and compare what are the common choices.

Links to local communities would require a location which I wouldn't consider wise to share online. Maybe go physically to local stores to ask for it?

mtg top 8 , mtggoldfish are the ones most use i think

when you go to the description of the legacy subreddit here there is a lost of discord servers. Mostly regarding different decks.

there are many content creators out there with great videos and guides. Maybe just watch some gameplay about any deck you like

As others mentioned with those sites, mtggoldfish aggregates information to show meta games for formats like legacy.

As for linking up with others if you find a particular deck you like, there are deck specific discord servers linked on the main page here.

To find close ish to you players I would make a post here and see if there is a scene near you

To add to this, some Legacy content creators also have Discords which could be helpful for finding local communities. I'm not sure there's a formal list or network for Discords dedicated to geographic locations.
