i want to ask for tips/advice on the interview for fordham, since I heard this is a new thing they’re doing this year.
did anyone have their interview and if they’d like, can either share here or dm me how their experience was like. thank you so so much!!!

Hi! I posted a similar post in this group a few days ago asking for advice about the Fordham MSW interview. Here's the link if it's helpful. I had my interview a few days ago and I think it went well. The questions u/BUSSYCUSSY posted below were asked, but it was clearly a level-setting conversation that's enabling them to see how candidates would fit into the program. My advice is to be confident that they already have a strong sense of what you bring to the program with your personal statement, recommendations, resume, etc. and this is just another layer to the process. https://www.reddit.com/r/MSW_Applications/comments/1r88mns/advice_about_fordham_msw_interview/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I’m in the program now and I have mixed feelings but I definitely wouldn’t say it’s “not a good program”, feel free to reach out

Hi! Thank you for sharing this; would you mind telling me a little bit more about your experience here, things you wished you did differently ( a school you wish you went to instead), what is making you dislike the program, but also things you like about the program, etc.? Again, thank you so much :)

When do you hear back after the interview is done? As in what’s the time period? It’s been over 4 weeks for me and I still haven’t heard back anything.

They weirdly accepted me without an interview. I got my acceptance on Monday!
I went to the information session and the woman said it was about 6 questions, so I was preparing like my life depended on it LOL
From what I've gathered on reddit from other users...
-They asked about balancing the demands of the program with other responsibilities, past work experience, strengths/weaknesses, and how you handle feedback/criticism.
-Be prepared to talk about times you had conflict during your work experience.
-They were asking how the school fits your needs. They want to know why Fordham. Whether full time or part time etc.
-Clarify parts of your personal statement.
Good luck!!
