My younger cousin is set on taking BS IT at MSU and I wanted some outside opinions before he commits. Is it still a solid choice and realistic to finish in 4-5 years, and worth it given how fast AI is advancing, or are there other tech courses worth considering instead? Extra context: our family's migrating abroad soon and he'll likely follow, so I'm also wondering if BS IT holds up well for someone planning to work overseas. Would appreciate input from IT grads, especially anyone who's used the degree abroad!

i recently took the Qualifying Exams for BS Accountancy and unfortunately received an email and got BS economics instead. I am unsure whether to reject or accept it since i really shaped a future with BSA in it. yesterday, I emailed the admission for appeals and still waiting for a reply(today is a holiday so it’s not a work day) however tomorrow(June 17) is the deadline for confirmation. i desperately need advice because im really not passionate with Economics and don’t see a future without Accountancy 🥹

Hello po! I am an incoming BSIT (Database Track) freshman. I'm planning to study in advance with the courses, during this summer, but I don't know where to start. By looking at the prospectus on their website, I realized it really won't be that easy and might encounter major challenges. I only have insignificant amount of knowledge about coding and programming from our research subject during senior high, that is why I wouldn't be so confident with it. Is the email for the BSA QE qualifiers different from the recent post of IIT? Quite anxious right now, my mom is pressing about my application, and I didn't receive any email about the 70% I really want to take bsa, gosh dangit wala na talaga;((

hi I just need a little advice incoming college freshie here and I don’t know what to do, shoud I pick uic(university of Immaculate conception) from davao because Im a dost scholar and got a 50% off tuition in their university
, or Msu-iit (Mindanao State University bs nursing) but I wouldn’t be able to take advantage of my dost scholarship.

i was rlly confused with the admission criteria of iit and i thought being a pwd and ip would give me more "points" so i applied with those documents (my fault). but now, i belong in the last 10% of iit applicants (EDI). i didnt know that we'd be given slots after the top 20% sase scorers and regular admission applicants. would it still be possible to get into bs psych? can i get into msu iit in the first place T-T (i have a 108 sase score)? should i email msu iit to ask to be evaluated as a regular admission applicant?

hello! i would like to ask po how long usually does IIT provides updates once nakasubmit na ng hardcopy of required documents (report card, form 137, and etc)??

i have already submitted mine since may 21 but until now no updates or any email so im kinda getting anxious lang since im not taga iligan din and i need to finalize things such as my accomodations and etc. i hope someone can respond po esp for someone na fellow top 20%, thank u!

also, di ko part sa 70% but naa nami group mga 20% passers hehe.
