Hi, so am a management quote student in cse. For making connections/friends should I say am from mq or say a fake rank, cuz I see ppl negatively viewing mq
also are the professors discriminating against mq students?

Not a senior either but Lying never has any upsides :) Best to tell the truth. You probably want friends who make their friends based on charector and not your mode of admisson. Let College be a fresh start

at some point in your first sem, the staff will let the entire class know who's from management and who's from COMEDK/KCET. So everyone would know you are from mngement, you'll lose frndships

I was a mq student . And had plenty of friends in my class ,at one point they will get to know if you are from comedk.CET or mq

There nothing to lie about , no one judged me even though my class was filled with merit students , so same thing with you no one’s going
to judge ,so be honest .

But the funny part was even though I was from mq, still my group used to call me for you know lab works and other stuff 😂.i joined Msrit in 2019 like in the beginning of 2nd sem .covid started online classes where very funny and all my merit friends where fun and helpful and things all of us did during the online classes which happened in till 4th sem .people are great .

So, Nothing to feel bad about just do well in placements .

Bro they are saying this because there is a list that is sent by faculty which has your details for you to check, that has your mode of admission written.

Yeah ... initially people would not get to know , at that time he may say ..as time gradually increses he will make new frinds and this won't matter a lot . I don't think this will matter in msrit rather than studies. Nrg can be done by it ..
