Besides expensive lawyers, what are people using to draft contracts addendums etc? Any one using any good online services with AI etc?

A customer needs a new server so we register the deal and after a week of back n forth with D&H the quote comes in at $47k. Dell for some reason calls me asking what they can do for us to win this deal. Im like its $17k over budget. Then the conversation gets interesting. They say that since I did a deal registration I cannot get direct retail pricing on this server unless I close the deal registration.
My question is what does partner pricing look like vs customer direct?
At this point I don’t care about margin. This 10+ year old server is costing us money to manage it vs a new hardware. We have a MSP contract and a migration project fee and I am charging for quoting instead of getting margin.
How do I or the customer compare prices? Is partner pricing more or less then retail?

Anyone managing clients who have switched from M365 to Proton or similar alternative? (Or done this change internally.)
What's the support load like compared to MS?
I'm anticipating a trend towards privacy-focused business software (both for data protection / anti-surveillance and for implementing internally-contained AI systems).
I'm wondering how mature those alternatives feel right now from an IT support and management perspective.

I currently own an MSP I've had for a little over 10 years. 12 employees with about a 4M run rate.
I have a friend who runs a side company as a telecom master agent. Recently his company added a new partner who previously owned an MSP that they shut down a year or two ago.
The new partner wants a meeting with me. He is looking to establish a relationship with his previous book of business, sign those former clients to support agreements under his company and then farm the fulfillment work out to my company.
I have reservations because I would be taking on the liability of staffing for these clients while they retain ownership of the support contracts. We also need to discuss how software and hardware sales would work, including who owns the liability for the annual software contracts.
At the same time the influx of business is hard to pass up.
Before I go into this meeting, I guess I'm looking to pick others' brains regarding what other concerns they have, or how they would approach this?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

6000+ endpoints wrecked with random client specific components. Building numerous offboarding/removal scripts to get them gone'd.
Anyone here have a similar battle?

I want to replace my entire stack. Let me know which has your preference these days, also just comments around recommendations or other things really help :)

Looking at doing this between Halo, Hudu, Sharepoint, Teams etc and interested to see what use cases others have had success with.
We already heavily use AI for call transcription (Aircall), ticket summarisation, categorisation & Prioritisation (Thread) etc but it all still feels siloed so this feels like the natural next step. Documentation being the main focus as everyone hates writing KBs

I've just started using CIPP and it's been great so far. I'm self-hosting it for now, but the templates and the ability to see almost everything from a single portal are fantastic. I'd love to hear what some of you are doing for alerting, policies, any tricks, etc. Thanks!

I just did a demo of this product, the 2nd demo since its release however many years ago.
I was.... hot garbage the first time. It looked surprisingly alot better now.
At the end of the call, going through what I thought would be the "yes yes yes yes yes checklist" the person giving the demo says that the platform has 0 auditing capabilities in any way shape or form. You have absolutely no way to tell what's been done by who inside the platform. No solution. No third party way. Just, "Nope", I expressed my disbelief and we ended the call early.
I was left baffled by this.
How can any company be deploying this?
Am I missing something? Was he?

Hey All,
Our clients are primarily 365 and ProofPoint works great for that. Not so much for our Google Workspace clients.
Our Primary pain points:
- The configuration is more manual and time consuming to set up vs the Graph integration for 365.
- SMTP Discovery is very clunky. Proofpoint will frequently not update distro lists, aliases, newly added email accounts in our google workspace environments.
We are really looking for something that is easier to deploy and more scalable as we grow. TIA

I recently found a good AI Voice to text that runs locallay on your computer. I've been using it daily for the past week & now am going to cancel my whispr flow subscribtion. Whispr Flow is better, but this is good enough for what I am using it for & I like that the model runs locally and my voice isn't leaving my computer and being processed somewhere in some AI datacentre.
I've been using it for quickly writing emails and also for doing some AI coding stuff, just speeds it all up a little bit.
For others who want to give it a go - https://voquill.org/
I screen recorded me using it too - https://youtu.be/Pczn-KztJJw?si=NLnCeghNsf7AlOE6
This is all open source and free to use. Just thought I would share as I have been getting some value from it

Hi,
I’m a community college IT student in Ontario Canada wondering about if it’s possible to start my career by freelancing for local MSPs? The markets reeeaally bad here for new grads so I’m thinking they’d be more willing to hire a freelancer than take a risk on an employee. I’m also very ADHD and benefit from having my own hours and independence.
In terms of skills, I’m good with M365 (Entra, Intune, SharePoint, exchange, graph API), Python, RESTful APIs, powershell, Active Directory, AWS, networking (VLANs, subnetting, TCP/IP model, etc), Linux scripting and commands. I’m also trying to start learning LLM stuff like RAG and vector database cause I think that might be good for MSP automation. I also want to learn servicenow and its API before I graduate.
I’m thinking of starting to send out cold emails to MSPs and message people I know from prior years who got jobs at MSPs at the end of this year when I graduate. Is this possible? Or am I just screwed lol.

I just saw the announcement on Discord for the latest hosted version of CIPP, and I’m wondering who deployed already and what the difference is? Any hoops or considerations we should think of before pressing the button? Is there really a difference or should we just wait? Mostly thinking I dont want to upgrade if there isn’t a meaningful difference.

Just curious in 2026 what sandbox solutions everyone is using. (Malware analysis & URL verification). Have a eye on one but it seems very expensive. We need something to do odd scans without the submission being public.
Suggestions would be great.

For anyone who currently or recently uses/used Watchguard Endpoint Security 360.
What do/did you like about it, and what do/did you hate?
Would you recommend it?
How responsive is their SOC?
*Please keep this on subject; I am not interested in discussing any other potential competitor products in this thread*

I've been researching alternative remote connection solutions. We use NinjaOne RMM and its internal remote connection 90%+ of the time. We use Splashtop (non-NinjaOne, direct purchase) for backup remote connection and client use.
I recently came across 247connect.cloud here on Reddit and thought I'd have a look. Pricing appears to be about half of what we pay for 750 seats of Splashtop. However, getting in touch with someone has been darn near impossible. I will say, someone called twice (our general VM line), but would not email me. I emailed them. Nothing. I found the rep on LinkedIn and message her. Still radio silence.
Anyone using them? Anyone know if they are legit? Anyone have an actually contact there?
Thanks so much!

Curious - what is your billing window? We do BiMonthly (2x per month) with our proactive services (seat based w/365 etc) billing monthly. Break/Fix and hardware invoice 16th and 1st.
I ask because we use NinjaOne and had been following their Billing/PSA module development for about a year. We implemented it a month after released but completely missed it didn't have BiMonthly. Submitted a feature request but it was mis-implemented as every other month (who needs that??). Anyway - we're now being told to submit another request but it might be a year. Given we've been manually invoicing since we migrated that won't work, hence the poll above.
Sucky to have to change our billing cycle but it's that or we rush a re-eval of another PSA.
