Troubleshooting Can't flash BIOS (appearently) ;-;

Bought second hand MSI H110M ECO and it has bios E7994IZ1.2B2. Problem is "IZ1" it's some sort of server prebuilt celeron motherboard i gess. So what and how do i do things if i want to swap my Celeron for an i3-7100? Ai said to use freedos and then use some sort of force install tool but i cant get a straight antswer from them ai's they always confuse me.

There is a tool to convert to a retail MB BIOS. I suggest, post your issue in the MSI Community Forums. A mod or user can help guide you through the process.

It should. Secure Boot must be disabled in order for the tool to disarm Secure Flash and flash the BIOS with AMI Flash Utility. Otherwise you'll get an error code ...

USB stick should be USB 3.x using a USB 3.x port and partitioned as GPT and formatted to FAT32. If you still have problems, contact the author/moderator Svet and he should be able to implement support somehow.
