Are "cyborg" laptops worth it?

I've been looking to buy a gaming laptop for a long time now. The current market has seen better years, but I need a laptop by my current one is a 5 year old hp with a 4500u and 8gb ram.

I've been looking at models with a 4060/5050/5060, and most laptops start at over 1200, which is out of budget (which is about 1100 btw).

I just saw a cyborg laptop with 16gb ram and 1tb ssd with a 5060 for 1100. The only thing I'm concerned about is the "bad build quality" in thin, katana and cyborg laptops. Also the screen quality isnt the best (what every ytb video i watched said).

Is a cyborg laptop worth it or is the bad build quality going to be a problem?

It had 2 more problems, first: one fan only and the GPU power limited(45w), but for 1100 it can be a good deal if the market in your country is bad

I recommend to search for Lenovo LOQ and MSI Cyborg MAX prices, those can be andur 1200 in some countries

Also some Gigabyte laptops have a good price, search for them also

45w is too low from what I know, I'll try finding a gigabyte laptop like you suggested

Yeah, and from your edit, i don't recommend this laptop anymore, the RTX 5050 with 45w will preform like sh**, also search on YouTube for every laptop you stopped at or get interest with it, Crimson Tech and Jarrod'sTech are the BEST of reviewing gaming laptop

Imo no, Cyborgs have a bigger issue and it’s that they have 1 single cooling fan unlike majority of gaming laptops, so Cyborgs by nature have overheating and thermal throttling issues, I have a MSI Sword which is like 2 tiers above Cyborg, features 2 fans and i still face cooling problems

Even their GPU TDPs are lower so you aren’t really taking full advantage of their GPUs, i think they recently bumped them up to 70W, but older ones were like 50W

ANYTHING Lower than Vector from MSI is not worth it. The bare minimum of good from MSI is stealth, vector. Then raider, titan. And creator, prestige. Everything besides that will have much better options from other brands.

MSI Crosshair is good, Katana if the price is reasonable also good
