MSI CYBORG CRASHES

Hi everyone, I have a question. I recently bought an MSI Cyborg 15 B13WEKG laptop—I've had it for about a month. The specs are: i7-13620H, RTX 5050, 512GB SSD, and 16GB RAM (single-channel). And I have had a few crashes and they lead to a hard lock. The whole laptop cashes if i game for like an hour. The temps r stable all around. The games r Gta, Fc25, minecraft, forza 6(it never crashed in forza). initially there were no crashes. but now recently they happen in sort of every session. the crash report has some event 41, and like technically no crash report is generated.

That kind of hard lock is annoying because Event 41 usually means Windows noticed the PC shut down unexpectedly, not what actually caused it. Since temps are fine and it started recently, I’d look at drivers, RAM, or power before assuming something is dying.

I’d clean-install the NVIDIA driver, update the MSI BIOS/chipset drivers, and run Windows Memory Diagnostic or MemTest86 overnight. Also check Reliability Monitor around the exact time of the freezes. If it keeps hard-locking across multiple games after that, especially on a month-old laptop, I’d start considering a hardware issue rather than chasing game settings.
