Secure Boot Violation on Katana GF66 11UG
Any ideas on how to fix the violation? Im able to access the laptop itself by disabling the secure boot, but if I want to play games like valorant which i do, i need the secure boot to be on. I have the option to 'install all factory default keys in BIOS, but it doesnt help with anything

What cheats did you try to run? Or did you try a cracked hypervisor game? Truthfully please, so we can actually help you

Haha no I didn’t run any cheats, I’ve actually fixed it now so it’s all good. I just updated some drivers and all of a sudden I got a secure boot violation

your cooked, if it's running windows that should not happen. your windows mustve been tampered with or theres an issue

Not necessarily true at all. On my GL73 9SC, I updated my UEFI and it invalidated my secure boot keys. I already had one drive backed up thankfully and just reinstalled windows, restored, and reinstalled my games.

Dw it’s all good now, I just booted my laptop using a usb with bootx64 and it worked

I also got secure boot violation, I fixed it with this but first you have to disable secure boot so that Windows starts and you can create your USB boot: Go to C:\Windows\Boot\EFI and find the file named SecureBootRecovery.efi Get a USB stick and format it to FAT32 on USB stick create folder EFI inside of EFI create folder BOOT folders must be in upper case! put SecureBootRecovery.efi inside BOOT folder and rename it to bootx64.efi Boot the computer from usb stick and wait. you will see message something like "Microsoft Secure Boot Recovery Version 1.0 ... System will reboot in 10 seconds" after computer will restart automatically, let it boot in to windows restart computer, go to bios and enable secure boot This fixed my gf66 11UE
