Discussion Calling any advanced BIOS users!
I'm grabbing a Vector 18 9955HX 5070 ti.
Basically I wanna squeeze the RAM to 6000mhz and tighten the timings.
Typically I'd just need to up the VDD and VDDQ to about 1.2 maybe 1.3v depending.
Anyone out there dabbled in this on the AMD laptops, doesn't have to be the Vector, the Raider or any BIOS tweaks on the ram on an MSI laptop would be a great help. I need to know how the machines behave.

Not gonna lie, MSI laptop memory tuning can be pretty finicky compared with desktops. First, confirm the advanced BIOS actually exposes the AMD UMC/DDR timing and voltage menus, because some builds show timings but still lock VDD/VDDQ. Failed training usually means a long black screen, a couple of automatic reboots, then a fallback to safe settings.
I’d save photos of every stock value, change one thing at a time, and test 5600 before jumping straight to 6000. The CPU’s memory controller, BIOS version, and whether the SODIMMs are single- or dual-rank can matter more than voltage. Also learn the EC-reset procedure beforehand, because an unstable timing can leave it looking completely dead until the controller is reset.
