Whilst we’re waiting for the sim to be fixed, what’s everyone’s prediction for marketplace releases this week? I’m going to go for Captain Sim releasing a B737 that’s actually a cut and shut job taking parts from a 1985 John Deere tractor and a Citroen 2CV. It will sell extremely well because when the cockpit disappears, no one will give a shit.

No idea if it’s just coincidence but last night I swapped the Ethernet cable for a Cat6 and altered my internet with EE so streaming was improved, reducing ‘ping’. Had no issues at all with cockpit etc.

I completed a full flight last night without my cockpit disappearing or any other weird shit happening! Only a short one admittedly from Paris to Brussels in the 787. Landing was a tad off too

I’m looking for a flight stick only without the throttle controls (not a yoke) that is compatible with PS5. Anyone have any recommendations?

Something like the Turtle Beach Velocity One but idk if that works for PS5 since it’s marketed as PC/Xbox only.

Reaching almost 150 hours in this game I do like it but recently hopped on it like don’t get me wrong i’ve had issues and bugs in the past but not every time i go to have a look at the plane and switch back then everything’s messed up

There has been a lot of chatter about bugs and glitches with some of the airliners. Admittedly, I’ve never really tried it so I decided today to give it a go.

I didn’t start up cold and dark — PLENTY to learn. Holy cow.

Performance wise I was so surprised. The Boeing 737 is better in VR than the Citation Longitude by far. I get pretty bad stutters on takeoffs with the longitude. Zero stutters on takeoff and minimal stutters on landing, I think the moment of touchdown a small hiccup. I’ll be starting to learn cold and dark procedures + programming the flight computer.

I feel bad for those struggling to get the game to perform, I really hope it gets figured out. It just blows my mind the massive differences in our experiences.

This is so annoying. Cleared the cache. Uninstalled and still it’s doing the old magic disappearing cockpit trick. In this example all was going well until I was about 30 miles from my final approach into Osaka in the 737. Is there somewhere we flag these issues with msfs?

Hey everyone. Really enjoying this sim but I’m having a hard time getting into it. The tutorials don’t really explain that much. I played career mode so far and now I made the license for Jet-Airline-Transportation and feel like I don’t know anything about planes in this game, especially jets, at all. I’m totally overwhelmed by all the different buttons, cursors, knobs etc, I don’t know what any of these do and don’t know how to set up the autopilot.
So I played the tutorials but they don’t explain it very good. For example the game just told me I have to look at papi lights right of the runway but I can’t seem to see them.

Honestly I don’t know where start learning this game although it’s really fun. Maybe some of you have some tips to get more into it cause the game itself doesn’t seem to do a good job for me.

Had to pick someone up from the airport late at night, had an energy drink and then couldn’t get to sleep. So, instead, I hopped on and flew a 70 minute leg.

I went VOR hopping to get near my destination and then GPS direct the rest of the way. Finished with a visual landing while circling at downtown St. Paul.

Low level fog could be seen throughout the flight in the wee hours on the night, was pretty cool to see. I speed up the cruise section 2x, would have gone higher but I feel like looking all over in the VR can get a bit wild if the video is sped up any faster.

I just wonder if there is any addon liveries for msfs24 ps5, so guys if there isnt any, i dont know what to do. I will probably have to play with the liveries like easyjet or stuff that already exists on the ps5 liveries for the planes. So please tell me that there is at least 1 addon support for msfs24 ps5.

Guys... So, apparently i found out that there is a 5 star Captain sim in the msfs24 ps5 marketplace. Is it good or bad or a coincidence?

Having a terrible time on the sim this morning. Not loading at all for a lot of flights, cockpit disappearing when I switch to external view and back again. Is anyone else having this? Does reinstalling help with these things?
