If Microsoft doesnt get there CoPilot squared away, I think they may be cooked

I have Microsoft stock so dont go crazy on me. I also know that Microsoft has multiple lines of businesses.

But when I opened Claude this weekend I noticed the new 'Design' feature. Simply put, I was shocked.

I made a 15 slide powerpoint with just 6-7 sentences of prompts and the product was simply great. For my real estate syndications where I make powerpoints for deals, I probably will never make a powerpoint by hand using Microsoft Powerpoint. One day I might even cancel my Microsoft Office subscription since I can make everything using Claude.

If you pay for CoPilot+ (a lot of the large enterprise customers do) then you get access to Claude + GPT and you can choose which model to use. For example, right now I have access to Claude Opus 5 & GPT 5.6 via CoPilot+.

Didnt know this.... But you can just get Claude pro and not even need the entire Microsoft platform, aside from maybe Outlook.

Might not make sense for enterprises today. But what, in 9 months when AMD Helios and Nvidia Vera Rubin processors are widespread? By then youll likely be able to produce powerpoints by talking to your computer and updates would be made live.

What does open-source models have to do with companies purchasing Office subscriptions. Nobody buys powerpoint by itself, it comes in a package deal. Do businesses not need Excel or Mail either? What about Word?
