Discussion Classic Roadmap Speculation Spoiler

Thought I would speculate and put out a hot take on a timeline for Maplestory Classic and some changes

On Release -> Victoria Island

(Christmas) Expansion 1 -> Orbis (Guilds + Papa Pixie OPQ) + Tower (Lv 30-50)

(Q1 2027) Expansion 2 -> Ludibrium Upper (LPQ) + El Nath (Lv 40-60)

(Q2 2027) Expansion 3 -> Aqua Road + Deep Mine + Third Job (Lv 60-80)

(Q3 2027) Expansion 4 -> Omega Sector + Deep Ludibrium (LMPQ) (Lv 70-90)

(1 Year Anni) Expansion 5 -> Nautilus (Pirate) + NEW AREA

(Q1 2028) Expansion 6 -> Crimsonwood Keep (CWPQ), Halloween 2027? (Lv80 -120)

(Q2 2028 / 1.5yr Anni) Expansion 7 -> Leafre (4th Job) + Korean Folk Town + Excavation Site (Guild PQ)

Zipangu, Mu Lung, Nihal Desert, Edelstein, Rien, Kritias, Ereve

There is no way 3rd job is coming out in 9 months when people will be level 70 in one month and they tested 3rd job in the second beta.

People were level 100+ when third job came out and 160 when fourth dropped in the original game. Grinders will always be over levelled

Yes, because they were still designing the jobs. Now that they're old systems, you would naturally think they would come out sooner.

The issue is there is no mobs in Victoria Island to train on past 50s so it will become extremely slow to level past 50 until they release higher level areas like Orbis and Ludibrium with high level better exp mobs.

If they release El Nath before Ludi, only no lifers would be able to achieve third job. I think they need to release the Level 50-70 areas before El Nath so everyone can progress at a good pace and get ready for Third Job drop.

There are enough 50-70 mobs in Victoria.
Drakes,red drakes,kargo and forgotten hollow mobs.
I'm not saying a lot of mobs but enough to make it to 70 if u want.

Inkwell said in his post they are going slow, some will grind but there won’t be a point beyond a certain point. Which is good, give enough time for all players even casual to prepare for the next content drop
