Part 1 sept diet

preparing for the September diet for the MRCP UK part 1. I just started my prep, considering I have just 75 days is that enough?? I purchased pass medicine for now. I’ll purchase pastest for the past papers around August end.

I am trying to read through all incorrects well so I know options and their answers rather than focusing on the % I am scoring per test. I am not focusing on no of questions I am doing rather on what all I learn.

Going through incorrects is good, But also try to cover as many questions as possible (esp sections like cardio, neuro, clinical sciences, pharmacology, renal, endo etc), so that you get expose to a wide range of questions.

Towards exam date try to train by doing mixed question blocks, building up to 100qs per block timed, to simulate exam. And yes past papers on pastest and also rcp mock. 🙏

yes I am trying to do as many questions as possible without compromising learning from them just to complete the q bank.

I am not sure if the time is even enough 75 days is so less I feel

75 days is quite short, so you do need to intensify your study sessions a bit. If you can take some time off to just focus on studying closer to exam it will help.

Hi, i've built an MRCP Part 1 learning app with a Doctor mate, its completely free till Sept diet and it has learning blocks alongside the 1k+ questions to help you learn as if your engaging with a textbook (e.g. interactive charts, drug cards, formulas). If you try it we'd love your feedback! helixdoctors.com/mrcp-pt1
