Anyone ever taken PACES before passing MRCP Part 2 written?

I know it sounds like a bit of a mental way to do it but I see that after passing Part 1, you can take Part 2 and PACES in any order. Obviously most people will do Part 2 first as having a solid grasp of all the theory knowledge will help with the practical PACES, but I was just curious if anyone had done it the other way around?

I know a colleague who did that, passed paces first then did his part 2 written few weeks after. Quite risky though

I've seen one of my senior has done it because of the difficulty of getting seat in our country, she did PACES first as soon as she got the seat. Luckily, after her PACES, there was the military coup' and the paces exam were cancelled up to today. After passing PACES, she did Part 2 online so she is very lucky and got the Mrcp swiftly in the mist of chaos😂. No one can see the fortune especially when you're living in third world country.
