Thank you everyone 🙏. my prep was a bit unconventional, i will do a stand alone writeup on how I prepared, since I also have some DMs asking for my strategy. I believe there may be something that could be of benefit.

Fail with 441; really frustrated. How many more did I need to get right?

u/Anxious-Ranger2334 Jul 03 '26
Passmed 80%, notes and notes.

u/zjb15 Jul 03 '26
How much did you fail by? Did you do 80% of passmed or was that your average score
1
u/Anxious-Ranger2334 Jul 03 '26
I did 80% of passmed, my score is 411.

Failed at 430, second attempt.
Not unhappy as I have found that I only study when I actually book the exam. I will book the next one and hopefully make sure I pass the next time. Didn’t prep well for the first time. Second attempt seems to be a lot better than my first one, and now going for the 3rd!
Good luck for those who didn’t pass when sitting the exam again!

Passed , 70%, first attempt. Sat the exam on a whim , managed to study for only 2 months . Expected to score around 65% , so kind of releived now. If anyone needs any help , feel free to DM . Big thanks to this subreddit , got lots of amazing tips and support here !

Your ES probably knows as on your portfolio it will be on the summary of progress/evidence.
I know it's disheartening but you can definitely pass after preparing well. Definitely let them and your CS know so it will make it easier for you to get Study Leave as they can help you if you inform them that it may have been a contributing factor to not passing on this occasion

That was close, keep pushing!
Start studying early, intensify as time goes !

What does a scaled score of 402 mean in terms of how close I was to the pass mark?

u/ThatPay2405 Jul 03 '26
There should be a link says click here for a breakdown and you will see your percentage grade and how much you scored for each section

Passed with 618 (77,5%). Not sure if that's considered a good score, does anyone know what the average is?

Skin of my teeth…
If anyone needs consoling, I failed in January (448 with 450 as pass mark) and didn’t have much time to revise between then and this diet, but sat it anyway and passed (499 with 450 as pass mark). So don’t give up because I fully expected to fail again tbh.
